RAKTA participated in the activities of UITP Global Public Transport Summit in its 64th session, which was held in the Spanish city of Barcelona, in which more than 1,900 members of the International Union of Public Transport from more than 100 countries participated. More than 85 dialogue sessions were organized throughout the summit, during which best practices, ideas, and trends in green and sustainable mobility were explored. RAKTA’s participation in this worldwide event is one of its top priorities for learning about best practices and new developments in public and sustainable transportation.
The participation also included a visit to a number of international platforms such as the Dubai Roads and Transportation Authority platform, the Dubai Police (Al-Ameen) platform, the UITP platform, and others.
RAKTA signed a strategic partnership agreement on the sidelines of the conference with the “OPTIBUS” company, which specializes in providing a comprehensive cloud system for programs specialized in transportation planning, scheduling, list preparation, and “SaaS” operations, supported by artificial intelligence technologies and optimization algorithms. It also contributes to increasing efficiency, raising the quality of services, reducing carbon emissions and costs, and reducing reliance on the human element in transportation planning operations.
