Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) took part in the 2nd edition of the RAK Energy Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Through its platform, RAKTA showcased a range of sustainable initiatives and projects aimed at promoting green mobility in the emirate. These included electric transportation solutions and smart infrastructure supporting the transition to clean energy, in alignment with RAKTA’s Green Mobility Strategy 2023–2040. This strategy seeks to enhance the efficiency of public transport and reduce carbon emissions.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi visited RAKTA’s platform, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Public Services Department, along with other officials. During the visit, His Highness was briefed on key projects undertaken by RAKTA to enhance public transportation in accordance with global sustainability standards.
RAKTA’s participation in the summit reaffirms its commitment to supporting sustainability goals, fostering a green economy, and advancing sustainable development through projects that drive the transition toward clean energy and sustainable transportation.
