RAKTA organized the Excellence in school transport awarding ceremony in its first edition 2022-2023, at the Emirates Society for Social Development, in the presence of H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA, and H.E Maktoum Nasser Muraddad – the Deputy General Manager, and Directors of departments of organizational units of RAKTA and a number of officials from RAKTA and the entities participating in the award.
It is worth noting that the entities participating in the three categories of the award (the distinguished operator category, the distinguished driver category, and the outstanding supervisor category) were evaluated through personal interviews with participants in the driver and distinguished supervisor categories, and field visits to the distinguished operator category.
During the ceremony, the winners in the three categories of the award were announced, and H.E Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi – General Manager of RAKTA honored the first place winner in the distinguished operator category, which was won by Emirates Transport, and the second place, was won by the Bright Bus Rental Company, and the third place was obtained by Ras Al Khaimah Modern Private School. The first place winner in the Distinguished Driver category was also honored, which was won by the driver Mirza Abul Kalam, the second place was Ali Saeed Ali, and the third place was Syamlal. Moreover, the three first places were honored in the category of the Distinguished Supervisor, where the first place was awarded to the supervisor Rodilla lamayan, the second place was awarded to Rochelle, and the third place was awarded to Fatema Kareem dad. Through its launch of the school transport award in its first edition, RAKTA seeks to encourage and achieve sustainability in the school transport system in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which aims to educate and encourage individuals and institutions to perform their roles in a positive and distinct manner, in order to achieve a safe, reliable and smart school transport system for our students.
