Out of RAKTA’s keenness to preserve the society health and safety and to limit the spread of Coronavirus, the authority is keen to conduct periodic COVID19 PCR test for all passenger transport drivers in the emirate, in accordance with the precautionary measures followed in coordination with the field team in Ras Al Khaimah Medical District. RAKTA has also set some preventive measures for drivers, including their daily temperature checks, their enrollment in educational courses on COVID19, using hand sanitizers, commitment to wearing masks and physical distancing, in addition to periodic sterilization of vehicles and buses in a way that preserves the health and safety of drivers and customers.
