RAKTA, represented by the Customer Happiness Department, organized the first drivers’ forum for the year 2022, in the presence of the Director of the Operation and Control Department, the Customer Happiness Department Manager, a number of drivers and operating officials from franchise companies, in addition to a number of employees.
During the forum, several topics were highlighted, including the need of continuing to implement all preventative measures that would preserve the health of drivers and passengers using public transportation, as well as the necessity of keeping a respectable overall appearance for drivers. The forum also discussed the role of educational and awareness programs which presented to drivers periodically through the smart ‘AlBosala’ application, which will increase their awareness in various fields, especially the art of dealing with the public.
Mr. Mohamed Hashem Esmaeel, Director of Operation and Control Department, confirmed that RAKTA is keen to organize such forums for drivers, with the aim of introducing them to the latest developments related to traffic legislation, in addition to opening a direct communication channel with drivers to listen to their needs and suggestions that contribute to improving the quality of services provided for customers.
The forum comes as an affirmation of the importance of drivers’ role as a key partner in the development of transportation services provided by RAKTA, in a way that enhances the RAKTA’s vision “Pioneering in regulating the transportation sector and ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and smart transportation services.” and the first strategic objective “people happiness.”
